Position: Adult Services Librarian
Location: Monroeville Public Library
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, develop, and lead programs for adults that educate, entertain, and enrich our community.
- Collaborate with local organizations and community members to create impactful partnerships.
- Promote programs through social media, flyers, and other communication channels.
- Assist with general library services, including helping patrons find resources and use library technology.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in adult programming and library services.
Who You Are:
- A creative thinker with a passion for community engagement.
- Organized and able to plan events from start to finish.
- Friendly, approachable, and eager to make a difference in a small-town setting.
- Comfortable using technology and social media to connect with the community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).
- Experience in program planning, teaching, or event coordination.
- Knowledge of library services is a plus!
